Physical Therapy

As of August 28, 2023 you no longer need a script from your doctor to see a physical therapist! Please contact the studio to schedule your appointment today.

Individualized for you

At Adaptable you are NOT your diagnosis. Dr. Jennifer Mullen will perform a comprehensive evaluation and work collaboratively with you to develop a plan based on your goals. The treatment focus is based on three central principles: education, teamwork, and ultimately independence. We focus on your capabilities and potential, not your diagnosis.

The Pilates equipment utilized in the studio provides a challenging and effective tool for building strength, mobility, flexibility, and tissue resiliency. All these things can help make pain more manageable and improve quality of life or help resolve pain entirely. In addition, we will work together to identify areas of opportunity in your life to build in daily movement, as well as providing support and accountability. Pilates based rehabilitation is very effective in addressing both musculoskeletal and neurological challenges.

These one-on-one sessions emphasize a therapeutic alliance with patients to develop an individualized plan of care based on a patient’s individual needs and goals. For inquiries, please contact the studio for details and to schedule an appointment.

Physical Therapy Hybrid

Traditional Physical Therapy (PT) can be extremely effective in restoring function and addressing pain.  But sometimes it is not enough, and a different approach is needed to feel your best.  At Adaptable,  we recognize your time is valuable and offer a hybrid option of limited in person visits along with digital programming and follow up. Dr. Mullen will complete a thorough evaluation and work with you to build a program that utilizes rehabilitative principles along with thoughtfully designed exercise programming based around your needs and goals.  The result is enjoying the process of getting better, rather than slogging through a long list of boring exercises day after day.

This is designed as an alternative program for those who are short on time but still would benefit from Physical Therapy, delivered in a hybrid model of fewer in-person sessions and virtual programming and check in’s. This program is only offered after a thorough evaluation to determine if it’s appropriate.

*Physical Therapy services require an active prescription provided by an approved party: M.D., D.O., chiropractor, etc. The script MUST be provided before or at the time of the initial evaluation.
